ENAR: Electro-Neuro-Adaptive-Regulator
ENAR therapy is simple, if you have a condition which has
pain as a symptom, then ENAR can help with your pain.
If
you’d like to experience this amazing treatment,
please call the clinic on 9331 8661 to arrange your
personal demonstration. We offer free 10 minute
demonstrations so you can find out how effective ENAR can
be.
WHAT
DOES THE ENAR ACTUALLY DO?
Controlled
studies on the ENAR have been done by the Chiropractic
Department at Macquarie University. These test have shown
that ENAR can have a profound effect on both chronic and
acute painful conditions and injuries that may not respond
to other forms of treatment. Their results showed that:
* It relieves pain fast - often within minutes
* Improves function and reduces disability
* Remarkably accelerates recovery times
* Finds hidden / referred treatment points
* Creates extended / sustained outcomes.
WHERE
DOES IT COME FROM?
The
ENAR was developed in Russia in the late 1970s by a team of
doctors and scientists during the space race. Physicists
were developing biofeedback and energy medicine as massive
government funding was poured into the American and Russian
space programs. Astronauts and cosmonauts could not take
pharmaceuticals for every possible condition, therefore
another form of treatment was needed, prompting the
development of energetic and biofeedback medicine for
healing. ENAR therapy was born. More than 6000
practitioners across Russia now use this therapy including
within hospitals, and more than 500 in the UK. It is
growing rapidly in Australia and gained prominence at the
2000 Olympics when the Russian team used it to allow
athletes to continue competing even after sustaining
serious injuries.
HOW
DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?
The
ENAR is operated by placing the device on the skin where it
collects electromagnetic signals that are modified and sent
back through the body. This ‘biofeedback’
feature is what distinguishes it from TENS machines and
other electrical therapies. A TENS machine sends out a
continuous signal to which the body can acclimatise and
eventually no longer respond to. As the ENAR’s
signals are constantly variable this prevents the body from
adapting to the therapy.
The primary aim of ENAR therapy is to create change, for
example;
* Pain to less pain
* No sensation to sensation
* General issues to specific complaints
HOW
LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
Your
treatment program will depend on the injury or problem you
have, and whether it is a recent acute injury, or chronic.
Acute injuries (e.g. a sprained ankle) respond best to
daily treatment of 10-15 minutes in the first week. Chronic
conditions may require 30-45 minute treatments twice weekly
for a course of 10-12 appointments. Please note this is a
guide only.
